Two days ago I received a support request from one of my clients, he said:

“Hi , KIS 2009 is detecting IPMS as rootkit. I have copied the file through KIS send option. I am attaching the same for your perusal.”

He sent the the executable file of iPMS to Kaspersky Lab for analysis and forwarded their response to me....

One of the most fallacious topics about CaSIR I came across lately is a topic on a public board led and administrated by a Microsoft MVP called Tom Mercado, the topic shows that it's not always true to trust a Microsoft MVP and blindly believe all what he says or any insight he provides!

I'm here is going to address Mr. Mercado and explain to him that he was far far away from giving a honest opinion!
