After I ran CaSIR, two files appeared on my desktop. one is casirdef.cas and the other is thumbs.db. What are these, and do I need them? How do I find out the results of the scan that I ran?

Apparently CaSIR didn't find any infection other wise it would have given you an alert, if you need more info, You see the log file called casirrpt.txt, open it with Notepad and see it's contents. The file casirdef.cas is the database file of CaSIR, CaSIR doesn't work without it. It's important. The file Thumbs.db is a system file for current folder thumbnails, it's not important, you can delete it. Thank you
